Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about donating, Zakat, our work on the ground, the shop, and volunteering.

Donations
How can I donate?
You can donate online with a card, or by direct bank transfer to our official account (Bank Al Falah, IBAN PK34ALFH5905005002452976, Title: Tabeer Foundation for Change). After a bank transfer, send your receipt on WhatsApp at +92 302 0504375 so we can confirm and allocate it.
Is there a minimum donation?
No. Every rupee helps. As a guide, Rs 500 provides a family a day of warm meals, Rs 2,000 gives a child a school kit, and Rs 4,000 delivers a full monthly ration pack.
Do you accept cash?
Never. We run a strict no-cash policy so that every donation is traceable. We accept bank transfer, cheque and card only.
Will I get a receipt?
Yes. Receipts and delivery updates are shared on WhatsApp. Quote your order reference (shown after checkout) and we will confirm your donation.
Can I donate from outside Pakistan?
Yes — international supporters can send bank transfers to our IBAN (PK34ALFH5905005002452976). Contact us first on WhatsApp and we will guide you through it.
Zakat & Islamic giving
Can I pay my Zakat through Tabeer Foundation?
Yes. Donations marked as Zakat are kept separate and distributed only to Zakat-eligible families and causes, in accordance with Shariah.
How do I calculate my Zakat?
Use our free Zakat calculator — it applies the 2.5% rate to your gold, silver, cash and savings, using the gold or silver Nisab threshold. For complex assets, we recommend also consulting a scholar.
What is Fitrana and when do I give it?
Fitrana (Sadaqat-ul-Fitr) is given on behalf of every member of the household before Eid-ul-Fitr prayer. Our Fitrana tool multiplies your local per-person rate by your family size.
How does Qurbani with Tabeer work?
You choose a share — a fresh meat pack (Rs 2,500), a goat/sheep (Rs 55,000), a cow share (Rs 25,000) or a full cow (Rs 175,000). We perform the Qurbani in Pakistan and distribute fresh meat to deserving families, with updates shared after Eid.
Our work
Where does Tabeer Foundation work?
We currently run camps in 19+ districts across Sindh, Punjab and Balochistan — including Tharparkar, Dera Bugti, Kashmore, Rajanpur, Killa Abdullah, Chaman, Turbat, Layyah, Thatta and Kotli Sattian.
Who delivers the aid?
Our own trained volunteer teams run every camp. There are no middlemen between your donation and the family it reaches.
Is Tabeer Foundation registered?
Registered under Section 42 of the Companies Act with SECP. Our legal name is Tabeer Foundation for Change.
How do you choose who receives help?
Local surveys and community elders help us identify the most deserving households — widows, orphans, the elderly, and families with no steady income — before every camp.
Shop for a Cause
Where do shop profits go?
100% of profits are donated to our projects. We keep only the actual production and delivery cost of each item.
What sizes do you offer?
Every item — T-shirts, hoodies, jackets and trousers — is available in S, M, L and XL.
How is my order delivered?
We ship across Pakistan. Enter your delivery address at checkout; our team confirms dispatch on WhatsApp.
Volunteering
How can I volunteer?
Fill in the short form on our Volunteer page — as a general volunteer for field camps, or a student volunteer for campus drives. Our team will contact you for orientation.
Can students volunteer?
Absolutely. Students help run awareness campaigns, learning camps and fundraising drives, and receive a certificate for their service.
